Pedro Marcano

Pedro Luis Marcano González is a Puerto Rican trumpet player whose musical journey began in a family deeply rooted in music. His father was a music teacher and director of a Christian salsa orchestra, giving Pedro an early introduction to performance. He began studying percussion at age six and entered the Escuela Libre de Música de San Juan at eleven, later making the trumpet his principal instrument.

At fifteen, Pedro began his professional career with the Puerto Rican Power Orchestra, touring internationally and establishing himself as a versatile performer. He has since performed or recorded with artists including Bad Bunny, Carlos Rivera, Gilberto Santa Rosa, René of Calle 13, Elvis Crespo, Jerry Rivera, Luis Enrique, Víctor Manuelle, Olga Tañón, Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, Johnny Ventura, Pedro Capó, Ednita Nazario, José Alberto “El Canario,” and Tito Nieves, among many others.

Pedro’s powerful sound, versatility, and extensive experience have made him a sought-after trumpet player in salsa, merengue, Latin pop, and urban music. He is an endorsed artist for Denis Wick.
